One of the many things we love about Sierra Foothills living is the commute home.
Many people who live in the Sierra Foothills work out of Roseville or Sacramento, CA. We have more and more entrepreneurs with internet based businesses who can work anywhere in the world. They choose the Sierra Foothills for the view and the simple small town life. Depending on where you live in the Sierra Foothills will dictate your commute if you will need one.
Many folks pick areas close to Interstate 80 or 50 to lessen their commute. Others prefer a little more a drive to be a little more secluded.

Applegate, CA
Camino, CA
Colfax, CA

Diamond Springs, CA

Where ever you decide to call home in the Sierra Foothills, it will be the prettiest commute ever! Those who live up here for years probably don’t even notice things like a cool old bridge. It’s normal here. Well when you grow up in the Sacramento area and live in suburbia, driving under an old bridge is cool. Maybe I am just a nerd, and I love it! These old bridges are sprinkled throughout the Sierra Foothills in the Northern California.
